Frequently Asked Questions
How do you handle billing?
For one-time services such as fencing, payment will be due upon completion of services. Some projects may require an initial deposit we accept Credit Card, Check, and Cash payments.
How do you price your jobs?
Lazer prices work using a stipulated sum pricing structure. Whether we have 1 employee on site for 3 days or 3 employees on site for one day, the price of the job stays the same. We understand that in our industry many people are operating illegitimate businesses that can offer lower prices, but rest assured when you hire us, we are licensed, we are insured, and we have a reputation that we will upkeep. If you have any further questions about our pricing, feel free to reach out to us!
What kind of warranty do you offer on your services?
Lazer offers a complimentary one-year warranty on all labor. However, warranties on materials vary amongst jobs. Below are some examples, but feel free to ask about the warranty details on your job at any time!
Fencing: Lazer takes precautionary measures on all of our fence installs. Some examples include using 6x6 posts with 3 hinges on every gate, using ring shank hot-dipped nails, concrete in every single post, and setting every post 24 inches deep in the ground. Our fences come with a one-year labor warranty. We do not warranty the warping of wood, as this is out of our control and all other materials are warranted through the manufacturer only.
How do you handle damage such as a broken window, sprinkler head, etc.
Please contact us immediately any time you see any damage that might have been caused by our crews. We are fully insured and have response efforts in place for all types of damage. Please do not contact an outside vendor before contacting us, doing so might prevent us from handling the situation (and correlated costs) per our damage control policies.
What if I am unhappy with my services?
Our services are guaranteed and our reputation is very important to us. If you are unhappy with your services, please contact us immediately. Depending on the situation, we will send a foreman out to look at and fix the issue, set up a meeting to have the crew come out and fix the issue, or correct the issue on the next scheduled visit.
How do you handle pets and yard debris?
Please let us know if your pets are kept outside. Our crew will make every effort to not let your pet escape, however, we can not guarantee it. If needed, we can send a reminder the day before our visit to leave your pets inside. Please pick up pet droppings, toys, yard tools, etc. the day before our visit. Damage to these items, and damages caused by these items may not be subject to insurance claims/implementation.
How soon will you be able to get to my fence?
We are usually about two to three weeks out on all services. During the busy spring months, scheduling might be booked out further than this, in which case your project manager will stay in touch with you on all scheduling information.
